The Office for Postdoctoral Scholars is pleased to partner with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) to host information sessions for UCSF postdocs, graduate students and faculty on the Mission Bay and Parnassus Campuses.

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science offers fellowship programs for overseas researchers who have an excellent record of research achievements to conduct collaborative research, discussions, and opinion exchanges with researchers in Japan.

The programs are intended to help advance the overseas researchers' research activities while promoting science and internationalization in Japan.

Join us on Wednesday, January 17 for an information session hosted by the UCSF Office for Postdoctoral Scholars.

The “JSPS International Fellowships for Research in Japan” consists of two programs: “Postdoctoral Fellowships for Research in Japan” for young researchers and “Invitational Fellowships for Research in Japan” for mid-career and senior researchers.

Who should attend?
Postdocs, late-stage PhD students, faculty, and researchers are eligible for JSPS fellowship

Breakfast foods, beverages, coffee, and snacks will be provided by the Office for Postdoctoral Scholars
