Overview

As part of the Manager Practice Series delivered through Learning and Organization Development (L&OD), the Office of the Ombuds is partnering with Labor and Employee Relations (LER) to deliver a training for managers and supervisors to help identify bullying conduct and discuss the formal and informal actions and strategies managers can utilize to intervene, address, and prevent workplace bullying.  We invite you to register or pass the word to managers or supervisors who might be interested. This is a virtual (Zoom) training.

Bullying/Abusive conduct was amended to the UCSF Policy on Violence in November 2019.  The UCSF Office of the Ombuds is an identified resource for confidentially helping all staff, faculty, learners and trainees identify and think through their options regarding bullying and abuse concerns.

As Ombuds, we also offer coaching, consultation and training to help individuals, teams and departments learn to intervene with bullying and abusive behaviors and establish communication protocols that support a positive workplace culture. Feel free to call (415) 502-9600 to make an appointment. (Note that our office will be closed from Dec 23, 2021 – January 3, 2022.)
