Chequeta D. Allen, EdD, MBA, FACMPE
Assistant Dean for Postdoctoral Scholars
Dr. Chequeta Allen was appointed assistant dean for postdoctoral scholars in August 2023. She holds an EdD degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from USC's Rossier School of Education. Additionally, she completed her MBA through the Executive Program at the College of William and Mary's R.A. Mason School of Business. Her academic journey also included a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Decision Sciences, with a minor in Spanish.
Dr. Allen has held leadership positions in corporate and academic environments, including Stanford University and Stanford Medical Center, the University of Southern California, William and Mary’s R.A. Mason School of Business, Salesforce and Oracle. While at Stanford, Dr. Allen co-created the Scientific Management Series for Postdoctoral Scholars across all professional schools at Stanford and developed and taught the inaugural mandatory Health IT course at USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy. Most recently, she served as senior lecturer and as area management lead for the MHA curriculum revision and currently serves as adjunct faculty in the MHA Program at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
In her leisure time, Dr. Allen finds joy in maintaining connections with her adult children and cherished friends on both coasts. She also enjoys the outdoors (cycling and hiking), immersing herself in captivating films, savoring diverse genres of music, and traveling.
