Human Milk Study at UCSF

Postdocs, we are looking for volunteers to take part in a research study conducted in UCSF Mission Bay campus. Our aim is to identify genetic variations that cause low or high breast milk production. However, women with normal breast milk supply will greatly contribute to this research.

We are looking for breastfeeding mothers (18+ years) of term babies who live or work around Mission Bay. We ask that you to donate fresh breast milk sample/s (2-3oz each) and answer a questionnaire about yourself and your baby. The samples will be collected from your home/work. Also, pregnant women that intend to breastfeed their baby and wish to participate in the future are highly encouraged to contact us.

If you are interested in participating or would like to get more details about the study, please contact me.

Thank you!
