Sona Chowdhury, PhD, was one of 10 UCSF postdocs who competed in the final stage of the third annual Postdoc Slam held on September 26. The live competition took place in a packed Byers Auditorium in Mission Bay and was also livestreamed to the Parnassus campus.
Chowdhury, who received $3,000 as the grand prize winner, also took the "people's choice award." The second place prize of $1,500 went to postdoc Will Schuerman, and third place ($1,000) to postdoc Lyndsay Murrow.
