The housing program of Other Eligible Groups begins in July 2020 and continues until spaces are filled. Housing Agreements (leases) can begin at any time, and end on the following July 1st. Tenants in good standing may renew for the following year. The program ends July 1, 2022, and participants’ housing occupancy is limited to that time.
The unit types accommodate one person only:
▪ Tidelands efficiency (small apartment with private kitchen and bathroom)
▪ Tidelands single (in a 2-bedroom apartment with shared kitchen and shared bathroom)
▪ Mission Bay single (in a 4-bedroom apartment with shared kitchen and two shared bathrooms)
Applicants in the Other Eligible Groups are verified with a letter from their department, stating their job title (and associated title code, if any), hosting department, supervisor’s name, and the start date of their program. UCSF Housing Services reserves the right to determine if an applicant is eligible.
Other Eligible Groups are:
▪ Students visiting from other universities and doing work at UCSF
▪ Students enrolled full time at UC Hastings College of Law (provide admissions letter to verify eligibility)
▪ Resident Ministers working for the department of Spiritual Care Services
▪ Participants in the National Clinical Scholars Program (NCSP) who do not otherwise qualify under an eligible UCSF title code
▪ Postdoctoral fellows working at ATOM who do not otherwise qualify under an eligible UCSF title code
▪ Visitors who are working at UCSF in a laboratory or clinical setting
▪ Residents in the AEGD or other affiliated program
▪ The following titles and title codes:
