UCSF postdoc Joel Babdor, PhD, was among 15 individuals honored at UCSF's annual Founders Day Awards ceremony, held virtually on Friday, May 21.
Dr. Babdor was one of three recipients of the Chancellor Award for Public Service. Established in 1970 by former Chancellor Philip R. Lee, this award honors members of the University who have performed outstanding service to the community. Babdor is recognized in particular for his leadership with UCSF's ImmunoDiverse Allyship Program, as well as his work as a co-founder of the Black in Immuno initiative.
