Join us for an informative webinar presented via Zoom on Friday, October 16th at 1:00 p.m. with Shivani Malik PhD, a former UCSF Postdoc now working in industry as Senior Director of Translational Research at Kura Oncology in San Diego.
Shivani leads a team of scientists focused on advancing Kura’s preclinical programs. Her career spans the transition from academia to industry, including growing from an early bench scientist role into research leadership. She is also the author of The Sky Is Different Here, released this February, which draws from her graduate and postdoctoral experiences. Through this conversation, she hopes the UCSF postdoc community will find both relatable experiences and practical insights as they navigate their own future career paths.
